Taher Abdelazeem
is an Egyptian visual artist and academic, born in 1967 in Giza. He holds a PhD in Set Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts – Helwan University, and has been a professor in the department since 2014. He is known for artworks that reflect Egyptian environments and popular identity in a contemporary style. One of his most notable projects is the panoramic "Prophetic Biography," exhibited in Egypt and abroad. He has held several successful solo exhibitions, such as “Balady,” “Point of Light,” and “Golden Biography.” He has received multiple awards, including first place at the Monastir International Festival in Tunisia (2013), and the “Pharaonic Flavor Art” award in 2022. His style features bold colors, diverse materials, and strong connections to cultural heritage.
