Hassan Elsharq
Hassan El-Sharq (May 28, 1949 - November 23, 2022), born on May 28, 1949, in the village of Zawia Sultan in the Minya Center. His name is 'Hassan Abdel Rahman Hassan', and he is popularly known as 'Hassan El-Sharq'. His father worked as a butcher and hoped that his son Hassan would work with him as a butcher. He is the eldest of six siblings and spent his childhood in his village east of the Nile and in the embrace of the mountain among many tombs of the righteous saints. He was a member of the Syndicate of Plastic Artists, a member of the Cairo Atelier, and a member of the European Group (Modern Art) in the German city of Neuruppin. Solo exhibitions include: Exhibition at Picasso Hall in Zamalek 2006, Exhibition at Cordoba Hall in Mohandessin 2007, Exhibition titled 'Mawawil and Poems' at Cordoba Hall in Mohandessin 2008, Exhibition at the Eastern Academy December 2009, Exhibition at the Jeddah Atelier of Fine Arts in Saudi Arabia January 2010, and Exhibition 'Tales of Scheherazade' at Cordoba Hall October 2010.
