Prof. Khaled Sorour, Head of the Fine Arts Sector, said, "With every exhibition by artist Nevin Nathan, there is a reflection of her passion for exploring aesthetic dimensions and new formulations that can embody her feelings in sculpture."
Khaled Sorour explained, "She is keen to ensure that her artistic output possesses visual power, both material and spiritual, through her handling of materials in sculpture and the expression of content and ideas. Her sculptural practice takes shape in forms that understand the concepts of space and movement, presenting innovative ideas and solutions with aesthetic values that distinguish her." Critic and artist Mr. Ezz El-Din Naguib is confident that she possesses the tools of a talented sculptor, and that she promises us a future that will make her experiences a valuable addition to the modern sculpture movement in Egypt. She overcomes the reluctance of women to enter this difficult field, and possesses the courage to enter the race of modernity, grounded in the presence of humanity and the experiences of those who preceded her in Egypt and the world. Her works are essentially sculptural blocks that have been emptied and "cleaned" of excess anatomical details, becoming expressive and symbolic forms of rhythmic movement. They allude to the human form without direct realism. They are expressions of contradictory expressions, between standing and sitting, between slumped and rising, or between bending and straightening.
